Children’s book Full of HEROES and MONSTERS now in Kickstarter

An international team of artists is looking for funding for the children’s book GOOD DREAM-BAD DREAM in kickstarter. The book aims to teach children to confront their fear trough a set of illustrated heroes, mythological creatures, monsters and a great story designed to bring parents and kids together.

The team is composed by talented international artists such as Juan Calle from Colombia, art Director whose work has been seen in heavy metal magazine and White wolf publishing. He’s part of Liberum Donum, a small company located in Bogotá Colombia that’s dedicated to animation and illustration in the book, games and advertisement industry.

The Book’s co-authored with the writer Serena Valentino. Her experience in the comic book industry guarantees a great monster history on the making. she is well-known for her work on “Gloom Cookie”, and “Nightmares and Fairy Tales” , both published by by Slave Labor Comics, as well as Novels like “Fairest of All: the Story of the Wicked Queen” and the series “How to be a zombie”, “How to be a werewolf” and “How to be a vampire”.

The campaign offers appealing rewards to the backers including a physical copy of the book from U$ 20 with free shipping for the US, and customized illustrations for the most generous.

THE BOOK: in a 32 page fully illustrated book, a young boy, Julio, will learn how imagination has helped kids of different cultures to conquer their fears. There are more than a 100 designs of heroes and monsters based on mythological and fictional stories from all around the world. From the prehistoric ages, trough the Egyptians, Greeks, Africans and more, all the way to the modern world. The book, with simple text and focused on graphics, is written both in English and Spanish in order to reach a wider audience.
