Have you heard of Kickstarter?

If not, Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform for all kinds of projects to be supported by people who believe in that project.

Recently I launched my own first Kickstarter project; the publication of my latest book: “From A to Z; the Do’s and Dont’s in International Business”. This book gives you over 150 tips & tricks on how to become more culturally competent.

The idea is to have my book illustrated and published using the support of people.

People like you.

When you support this project (or make a “pledge” as it is called) you get something in return as well. So it’s not a donation.

There are nine pledge packages to choose from. From receiving the book in electronic form to getting hard copies of the book to getting me spending a whole day with your team.

If you work with different cultures or if you travel a lot, you have come across cultural differences and cultural diversity.

Time and again people have asked me: “Give me some tips and tricks, so I can better deal with different cultures”.

So who better to ask than real people with real experiences?

And that’s exactly what I did.

In other words, I was able to get “real tips from real people”.

During my workshops and seminars that I give all over the world, I get the question almost every time: “Please give some do’s and don’ts on how to improve communication with other cultures”.

Rather than using my own tips and tricks, I decided to ask the people that I interview for the Culture Matters Podcast.

This book is the result of all those interviews.

Each podcast guest gave three tips, tricks and hacks to communicate more effectively across borders.

With every tip, I have shared my own insights and experiences on how to implement and take action on these tips.

This way, this book has become extremely practical and actionable.

Help me to get this off the ground by backing this project. Make you and your team more culturally competent by making your pledge now.
