Introducing on kickstarter our debut independent scifi thriller ‘The Great Dark’. Manbird Productions is a small production house based in Dana Point California. My goal is to offer a unique prospective on the horror/scifi genre, to take you, with the aid of movie magic, on an entertaining journey through psychological and visually stimulating yet profound movie experiences.
The story of ‘The Great Dark’ is a culmination of 6 years worth of writing and both visual and auditory conceptual design. This story is told from three different perspectives. Everything will be seen and experienced literally from three characters point of view. One is a man, living off the grid in an abandoned home, an astronaut and a surprise vantage point. All three of these characters will be creatively used and their stories intertwined to create a deeply rich, yet subtly terrifying story about a true dawning of humankind.
