San Diego, CA —August 28, 2017 — New apparel startup Naked Panda announced today that it is raising funds via a rewards / equity crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to finish the development of their revolutionary bamboo underwear. The company sets out to raise $30,000 on Kickstarter to finish development and produce the first batch of their latest invention that is going to change the way consumers think about underwear.

Naked Panda underwear derives its supreme softness from its content of 95% bamboo fiber. Co-founder and CEO Thomas Purviance explains, “The harvesting of bamboo for many different uses in Asia goes back thousands of years. However, bamboo fabric is a considerably more modern achievement that yields a much softer feel than cotton. To top it off, bamboo is the fastest growing plant on earth while using one-third less water than cotton plants, making it the perfect source of material for our project.”

The promise of sustainability is taken one step further by the team at Naked Panda as they join the likes of Coca-Cola, Bank of America, and Disney by partnering with World Wildlife Fund. “By becoming a Partner in Conservation with WWF, we’re letting our consumers know that their purchase will not only have a great impact on their day-to-day comfort, but also on the environment.
