San Diego, CA — On February 9 2017, Tyler W. Taylor launched a Kickstarter campaign for his new self-named brand of high-end, affordable luxury watches. Each watch has an embossed logo and comes in a special Wow Box with a blue velvet interior and signed notecard by Tyler W. Taylor.
“What’s unique about our company is that it was started because we wanted to purchase high end watches ourselves. When we saw how much they cost, we couldn’t fathom how a watch could cost so much,” the creator says, “We analyzed these high-end watches, saw the parts they were using, how they were being assembled, and from that moment on, we decided that we could provide the same quality of watch to people without charging outrageous prices.”
Tyler W. Taylor and his team feel there is no better way to make a statement than the watch on your wrist. To ensure the desired statement, each of their watch designs are scrutinized by watch critiques and their target market before the designs are finalized. The goal is to evoke emotions from the watch community and create watches that their target audience wants to wear.
The watches designed for this Kickstarter campaign are made with a stainless-steel case and crown. The elegant timepieces are 10mm thick with a diameter of 41mm and use automatic movement that doesn’t require the use of batteries. The unique skeleton design shows the movement of the gears in the watch, a feature that is hidden in most watches. The watch straps, available in black or brown, are hand cut and made of genuine leather.
The funds raised during this crowdfunding campaign will be used to finish manufacturing the watches and packaging. The remaining funds will be used to further promote the brand through product photography, hiring a social media marketing specialist, and social media marketing.
“Tyler W. Taylor Timepieces is a luxury watch brand built with high quality parts, but without the high-quality price tags,” explains Taylor, “Our goal is to make luxury accessible to everyone across the world and that’s exactly what we are doing today.”
In exchange to pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of rewards including the opportunity to help design and name the team’s next timepiece for $30 or help shoot the company’s next commercial for $50. Backers can also pledge as little as $150 for a limited edition signed and numbered timepiece in black or brown.
