Wine Lovers can now safely carry their bottles of wine, their glasses and some snacks in this compact and elegant tote.
How do you bring your favorite wine and snacks to a function with minimum fuss in one bag and guarantee that you will have a glass to drink your wine out of?
There is now a solution with the Ideal Wine Tote that can safely carry two bottles of wine, and two wine glasses. Plus, there is room for some light snacks and accessories, including your bottle-opener.
Conceived by a Hawaiian based company with an interesting name (Dakine Me LLC) and with a logo design of “Wine Me Dine Me Da Kine Me.”
Catchy phrase, but what does Da Kine actually mean? It’s a pidgin term used when you can’t think of the right word to use – like whatchamacallit. Or someone might use the term when they are referring to something as being ‘cool’ or ‘the best’ – Da Kine! In the logo – you get to replace Da Kine with whatever you desire.
Back to the Ideal Wine Tote – it is elegant, and compact and perfect for going to watch the sunset, taking to the beach or picnics, or to BYOB functions.
Designer, Steven Lynch, looked at what was on the market, and couldn’t find anything that suited. “Totes were designed for bottles only, or they were larger with all the picnic accessories., says Steven. “This Wine Me Dine Me Da Kine Me Tote fills that gap.”
Sherry Lambert designed the logo as an idea for a T-shirt, but then saw the possibilities of joining forces with Steven and his wife, Annette, along with her partner, Bill Rath to create an ideal Wine Tote.
There has been keen interest amongst friends and networking contacts, plus several wine stores have agreed to have the Wine Totes in their shop.
The four are looking for crowdfunding support to manufacture their first 1,000 totes and have launched their campaign on Kickstarter.com with supporters being able to grab their Tote at wholesale prices.
