From WarGirl Games comes a game of epic proportions… about genderbent cute anime dictators based on WW2 European leaders. This is My Little Dictator, a romantic-comedy battle visual novel featuring RPG battles, map systems and plenty of light-hearted fun. This fun project recently launched a Kickstarter campaign in order to get the game properly developed and launched.
It is 1939. Europa is on the brink of war. Several factions are set to conquer and take control of the continent. The Empire of Britannia led by Churchill, the Franzo Republic led by Cyrano, the Sovian Union led by Starin and a surrounded Germania led by Hitora. Only one man can set Europa on a guided path to domination. Take control as Yamato, a young and quick-witted General in the Japanese Army, who is traded to Germania to become Hitora’s tactician. Fight in battles, fall in love and change history forever.
The game is essentially a mixture between a traditional visual novel format and RPG battle-system with map elements. Players level up and fight in various battles with infantry, tanks and other units in order to progress. There are bosses and mini-bosses, and each enemy will vary in difficulty. You have allies to assist you in warding off enemies, as well as neutral territories that you can claim as a buffer zone against them. As you battle through zones, you will find yourself growing stronger. But that’s not all. Players must also gain affection points with girls in the game and go on plenty of ice cream dates, shopping trips and holidays to the beach. Mixed in with this is historical back-story, comedy and hopefully a cheeky bit of fanservice. Development for the game is already well under way, with coding for a battle engine, scripted scenarios and a basic scrolling map.
The money raised from this campaign will go towards the creation of original sprites and CG artwork for the game, original music tracks and other costs such as more advanced coding and a website.
