We have recently launched our project on Kickstarter. Mr Hyde Bow is an evolution of the traditional bow tie. Our vision is to create a great fashion accessories that will allow people to express their individuality with any outfit.
All Mr Hyde Bows are made of genuine leather and are handmade in Los Angeles. Every aspects of my Mr Hyde bow points toward quality over quantity, from their design, the materials used and the way they are manufactured.
These bow ties were originally designed for people who are tired of the uniformity of the ordinary tuxedo bow tie. I want these bow ties to give any outfit a touch of edge and personality.
I remember the idea came to me while I was photographing an event in Hollywood. It was one of those events where every man was wearing the same exact tuxedo with the same boring black bow tie. I remember looking at the back of the camera and being amazed that all these men look exactly the same. There was no way to differentiate one penguin from the other. People don’t want to show up at an event looking identical to their peers, they want to be one step ahead of the crowd. So that’s when I decided to create these bow ties, an accessory that would allow people to express their individuality with out looking like a clown. My bows have a contemporary style with a little bit of edge allowing each bow and its owner to show just the right amount of personality, while maintaining a classic timeless look. A perfect balance of class, edge and elegance.
