Rinky Dink Production, Ltd. has completed the “graphic novel-to film adaptation of That Blue Devil! In preparation for its premier at Orlando’s largest comic convention, MegaCon; Rinky Dink Production has begun a fan-based IndieGoGo campaign.
Based upon the graphic novel of the same name, That Blue Devil! answers the question, “What if that little voice inside you. . . was external?”
After being out of work for months, John Clarke is desperate to find a way to pay his bills and make his three month late mortgage payment. That’s the ideal situation for a mysterious Blue Devil to convince John that kidnapping a boy and returning him for a reward, would be the answer to his problems.
But soon The Blue Devil’s true intentions are revealed, and it does not involve helping John Clarke. Instead, John is another pawn in a much bigger plan being executed by The Blue Devil himself.
As Rinky Dink Production begins preparations for their film’s release, an unforeseen obstacle has arisen. Since this film is based upon a graphic novel, the production company knows that the perfect venue to premier its film is at Orlando’s biggest comic-book convention in Central Florida, MegaCon. However, this year the premier fee of $350 has been raised to $750. This $400 difference is not in their budget, yet their cast and crew has worked too diligently to produce this film for them to pass up such a grand opportunity.
Therefore, they believe that with support, they can still reach their goal of premiering That Blue Devil! at MegaCon 2014.
