Game Development started with one very simple idea in mind; develop a card game which family and friends and the occasional stranger could sit around and enjoy each other’s company over… Keep it simple enough for everyone to play, yet challenging enough to keep everybody’s interest. Make it lots of fun and mildly competitive… Center it mainly around general subject matter that the average player has knowledge of, but also cover a decent amount of more specific subject matter that not everyone has, and then, cover some very specific subject matter that will have most everyone pulling their hair out – but still gives everybody a chance at solving, with a good old-fashioned wild guess!
WORDOOO! has been through extensive game-testing with a very broad group of players – from witty young teens to wise old geezers, family and friends, work-place associates, and an awful lot of strangers. WORDOOO! has been played in multiple venues from coast-to-coast (and even the tropical islands) including – airports, restaurants, hotel lobbies, coffee houses, ski chalets, summer vacation spots, and bars; even on planes, trains and buses… WORDOOO! has been refined and redefined, until finally now, it is in a fashion and form that almost everybody who plays the game simply can’t get enough of it… show them a couple of the playing cards, and they beg to see all 600 plus! It is in fact downright contagious. A good deal of fun!
Players, or Teams of players, take turns solving the WORDOOO!s in a predetermined amount of time, typically plus or minus 30 seconds. Each time a WORDOOO! is successfully solved, the corresponding point total, appearing in the upper right hand corner of the WORDOOO! card, is awarded to the player or team. Wild Cards deliver timely (and untimely) twists and turns and blindsides!
WORDOOO! has set a funding goal of $21,000. The funding will provide for the first professional high-quality print production and delivery of the WORDOOO! Game Card Entertainment Pack, including a boxed-set of the colossal 600 + deck of totally unique premium playing cards and the official instruction pamphlet.
