February 3, 2014 – Gainesville, Florida — Drawing (blanks), a party game that claims to be an absurd, outright offensive drawing game that will make you question your moral fiber, has launched a Kickstarter campaign with a goal of $30,000 to mobilize production of the project. Drawing blanks marries the amusement of sketching with an unconventional deck of suggestive and shocking cards.

Drawing (blanks) was conceived and developed by Gainesville residents, Jason Stankevich, Corey Franco, Shannon Forrest, Derek Myers, who created the game as a way to spice up a regularly held game night. The game allows players to sketch wildly inappropriate things in order to defeat the opposing team, and for the laughs, don’t forget the laughs. Nothing is off limits in this edgy game.

Backers of the project have the opportunity to pre-order the first print of drawing (blanks) as well as claim a limited run of the collector’s edition that will not be available after the Kickstarter closes on March 2nd. In addition, the rewards include a printable PDF of the full game, exclusive Kickstarter cards, the ability to create a card that will be included in the final release of drawing (blanks) or a future expansion, and even a trip to Gainesville to meet with the db team and contribute in a creative session. Don’t worry, they did not forget their international friends and have included a special tier just for them.

“We were inspired by successful projects like Cards Against Humanity, Superfight!, and Shadows to Brimstone to create our own Kickstarter campaign,” says Stankevich. “Drawing blanks is the perfect game to whip out at party and show your friends. It will have you laughing for hours.” Stay updated on the progress of the Kickstarter and the future of drawing (blanks) by liking their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/dbthegame and by surfing to drawing-blanks.com.
