Looking for a game that’s both easy to play and fun? A game that’s not too complex, but also not too simple.
Welcome to Zombieville!
Created by husband and wife team Dawn & Ryan Socha, Zombieville is a multi-player tabletop game that incorporates cards, dice and of course zombies. With multiple ways to win, each time you play will be a unique, fun experience. “One of the best comments we’ve gotten,” says Ryan “is when someone mentioned how different game play goes depending on who’s playing it.” Sometimes people get very competitive and sometimes they work together. Either way, it’s anyone’s game.
“At first, the game was just something fun we made to play with friends. Our original board was simply drawn in a sketch pad, but after talking with a local comic book shop owner, we decided to solidify the design, have a dozen made and see if they would sell.” THEY DID!
“It’s very important that we stay Made In America.”
The copies sold and more requests came in, so the creators decided to start a Kickstarter campaign with the hope of raising enough capital to increase manufacturing without having to have the games made outside the United States. “Unless we are ordering hundreds of copies, it really isn’t cost effective, but we’ve been absorbing the costs to keep the manufacturing local.”
The Kickstarter campaign offers several add-ons not available in stores including the opportunity to customize the board with any pictures from your hometown. For ten top tier donations, we’ll even customize the zombie cards with a picture of the donor.
It’s a game for all ages, groups and occasions.
