SMASHWORX, BROOKLYN, NY 3/14/2014 – We’ve been working on a new project since June called “The Hero Trap”. In this game, you travel through ever changing monster filled dungeons on an epic quest. It’s fast paced, challenging, and filled with unique gameplay that breathes new life into the dungeon crawler genre. For the last two months, team SMASHWORX has been working very hard on our Kickstarter campaign. This involves making a trailer, documenting the game so far and coming up with incentives for our backers. We hope you can see the love that is going into this project.
For our artist friends, we are running a contest. Even if you back us for only one dollar, you can submit concept art for a new hero and the entire backer community will have the chance to vote on it. If you get the most votes, your design will be turned into a character in the game. Your name will also appear in the credits of the game.
Please support our project in any way you can. That can be a cash pledge, spreading the word on your social networks or even putting good thoughts out into the universe for us. If you aren’t interested in the project that’s OK, but it would be great if you could spread the word to people who may be interested in this game.
