The self-starter Garrett Miles attempts to make opportunities where there are none.

In the midst of slow economic growth and with very few job opportunities in the local non-casino video game industry of Las Vegas, NV one man has taken it upon himself to create his own path. After deciding to undertake the design, programming and art of a game prototype Garrett Miles then launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the development of the full game entitled Hammerwind: Flesh and Steel.

The goal? To fund the one man shop through the development of the initial game and from the proceeds of the success of the game hire more hands to help make Hammerwind an even greater franchise. This will mean more jobs in Southern Nevada and specifically the indie game scene here in Las Vegas.

Hammerwind: Flesh and Steel is a medieval Tower Defense game where powerful medieval towers dispense justice on mutated flesh machines known as the Blight. This single player game planned to be available on PC and Mac via platforms such as Steam will provide players with addictive game mechanics, humorous gameplay and good looking graphics. With ten different towers to choose from through 20 levels of play and multiple game modes against hordes of enemies, Hammerwind will keep players entertained for hours.

As mentioned before, the source of funding for this indie venture is from backers like yourselves via Kickstarter. If you would like to be a part of the wave of people helping to make this dream a reality then please visit the Kickstarter page for Hammerwind: Flesh and Steel and back this project. The project will be running until April 27, 2014.
