Los Angeles, CA — Independent filmmakers and actors, Amanda Markowitz and Bradley Fowler, are turning to the Internet to raise funds for their latest feature film project, Love.Meet.Hope., an inspirational project meant to instill hope within each and every viewer. Funding is a major obstacle to getting any film off the ground. Filmmakers have had to become more innovative in their fundraising tactics, and the independent filmmaking community has embraced sites like Indiegogo.com. Constrained by a limited about of time to fund, the process is testing both the online fundraising model as well as their nerves.

In line with Indiegogo.com guidelines, artists set a fundraising goal and have a set number of days to raise all the funds. Love.Meet.Hope. has a 60-day fundraising window, from start to finish. If the allotted budget ($18,000 US) isn’t completely raised before the deadline, the film will not be fully funded and they will lose a larger percentage of the funds that they were able to raise.

When asked why they find Indiegogo appealing, Markowitz and Fowler noted, “we feel it is an invaluable resource because it allows us to reach out to our peers quickly. It is beautiful in that it allows artists to create and encourages people to support one another.”

A Three Tales Productions, the film Love.Meet.Hope. examines what it really means to choose hope amidst tragedy and unexpected circumstances. A feature-length film, Love.Meet.Hope. contains elements of romance, action, drama and comedy. Thematically organized around life lessons that reflect a wide range of human emotion and experience, the film seeks to illustrate that once you choose hope, anything is possible.

If the film is successfully funded, Markowitz and Fowler expect to deliver the final cut early next year.
