Riches, Love, & Fear is a BFA Thesis student film. Elisa Duran, currently a senior at Emerson College, is the writer and director of this beautiful story. The plot follows the journey of a young boy who after meeting the girl of his dreams must choose between three life-altering paths. Together with a crew of students from schools around the Boston area such as Suffolk University, and Berklee college, she is working to turn this film into a reality.
Elisa’s inspiration for the film came from past events in her own life. She hopes to create a film that others will not only enjoy but that they can relate to as well: “Writing this story is a reminder of where I’ve been and how the choices I make will shape my future. Because of its impact on me, I hope to make this project in order to tell a beautiful love story that can change peoples’ perspective on life’s choices as well as the concepts of riches, love and fear.”
With Elisa’s vision for the film, and the drive of our motivated crew of students this film is sure to be enjoyable, relatable, and inspirational. We have the motivation, we have the know-how, we have the vision, now all we need is you. Unfortunately filmmaking is a very costly business, so we set a up a crowdfunding campaign in order to fund this project. After about a month of the campaign being live on the web, our Indiegogo campaign only has hours left and all the help we can get would be appreciated.
