Just Game, LLC is thrilled to have launched their Kickstarter campaign for Boardcraft, a modular board game that challenges players’ critical thinking skills through strategic board building and mutation.
Boardcraft is designed for 2-4 players and can be played as a free-for-all or in teams. Players can choose from six different characters, including Elf, Gnome, Vampire, Knight, Troll, and Succubus, each associated with a unique ability to continually alter the board as the game progresses. The objective of Boardcraft is to get 13 achievement points by completing missions and defeating other players and monsters.
“We have spent the last two years play-testing Boardcraft at gaming conventions across the Midwest, including Rock-Con, BASHCon, Origins Game Fair, and Forge Midwest, in an effort to build the best board game we possibly can,” said Tom Tracey, Co-Creator of Boardcraft and CCO of Just Game, LLC.
The Kickstarter campaign launched on August 1, 2014 and will run through Monday, September 8, 2014. Just Game has set an ambitious fundraising goal of $60,000, which will go towards a mold for Boardcraft’s character miniatures, artwork, and manufacturing costs.
Advanced pledge levels of $60 and $110 offer a Print n’ Play (PnP) version of Boardcraft, the first PnP board game to include electronic 3D printing files for players to print characters at home and local 3D printing studios.
