Playing + Lean = Lean Startup made easy
Playing Lean is a new board game for innovators who already know that Lean Startup is right for their organization and want to share their insights with their colleagues in a way they will actually remember.
In Playing Lean, players form teams and try to get their idea to market – before their competitors do! Difficult choices must be made about experimentation, building the product and investing time and resources.
The Playing Lean Road Trip
During the Kickstarter campaign, co-founder Tore Rasmussen will be living life on the road in 16 cities across the US of A. On the agenda are meet-ups, morning meetings, feedback sessions and play-testing galore. Rasmussen will show the participants everything they need to know to teach Lean Startup with a board game, and how it applies for teachers, founders and intrapreneurs.
All the play testings are free, and you can find a full list here: playinglean.eventbrite.com
Why Playing Lean?
Simen Fure Jørgensen, CEO Iterate, Co-Founder Playing Lean:
In 2015, I think we’re all inspired by the Lean Startup. Many of us face the challenge of spreading our enthusiasm to our teams, friends and colleagues.
It struck me that while I’ve been to many classes and trainings in my life, there’s only a few I remember: the ones where the instructor made playing a game a central part of teaching.
It would be great if there was a Lean Startup board game! A quick online survey told me that no such thing existed. For the last 18 months, we have done the only responsible thing: we have made the game we wanted ourselves.
Kickstarter campaign
The Ultimate Goal for the team behind the game is to get it into the hands of innovators everywhere. To do that, they first have to meet the minimum factory limit, hopefully with a little help from their Kickstarter Campaign, which will end February 13th.
