Henko Films will be promoting a new crowdfunding campaign for the documentary film “Big Head Boy: A Story of Hope”. The documentary follows an impoverished family in Nepal as they struggle to save their infant son’s life, who is suffering from a potentially fatal buildup of fluid inside his skull.

The film’s director, Chandan Jha, plans to document the entire process from the family’s struggles in a society that reacts negatively to their child’s condition, to the possible hope found abroad. A majority of the funds raised for the film will go toward Bishal’s medical expenses, including brain surgery at the Gudgau Hospital in New Delhi, India.

The campaign is now live on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo.

About the Campaign

The goal for the campaign is $10, 886, more than half of which will be donated to the family for the treatment of their son. The campaign will end on Friday, July 26th 2013. For more information or to make a donation please visit
