Los Angeles, CA (March 12, 2015)  – Today at noon PST, a new Kickstarter campaign will go live which features former ‘Big Brother’ villain turned actor/producer, James Rhine and ‘The Vanderpump Rules’ Ariana Madix. They have teamed up with LA-based screenwriter, Colin Costello and Wild Eyed Entertainment’s Bill Artope to raise $18,000 for the short thriller, ‘Immurement.’

‘Immurement’ is a psychological thriller in the vein of ‘The Twilight Zone’ and ‘Tales From the Crypt.’ A woman wakes up in a bricked chamber. No windows. No doors. She has no idea how she got there, who put her there and for that matter, who she even is,” Costello explained.”

Rhine chimed in, “Financing a film, whether it’s a feature or short, is the toughest thing to do today. We are simply doing what other independent filmmakers must do in order to get their work seen. And Colin’s script is great and needs to be seen.”

“Immurement” stars Chicago-based actress, Lorna Sheehan (‘The Dilemma,’ ‘Mob Doctor’), former Buffalo Grove, IL native, Albina Katsman (‘Piper,’ ‘The Innocent’), former Chicago resident and ‘Big Brother’ regular, James Rhine and ‘The Vanderpump Rules,’ Ariana Madix.

The film is being co-helmed and edited by Artope’s Wild Eyed partner and son, Evanston’s George Artope (‘Kevin Hart’s Let Me Explain,’ ‘We The Party’)

“This script is scary as $%^*,” Madix chuckled, and then added, “I’m scared to even shoot it.”

If all goes according to plan, the team hopes to shoot in late May and tour the festival circuit in 2016. But there are other plans as well.

“If “Immurement” is as successful as we think it will be, then there are plans to go with a feature version of it. I didn’t think there was one. Said, ‘no’ for months. And then WHAM it hit me… feature!” Costello smiled.

“Immurement’s” Kickstarter campaign will last until April 15, 2015. You can visit the site at www.kickstarter.com or you can keep track of their progress at www.facebook.com.
