SurvivalNationMC, a Minecraft server whose goal is to create a fun environment for everyone, started a Kickstarter campaign.
“We at SurvivalNationMC strive to create a Minecraft server that is safe and fun. Our goal is also to find staff members to create a fair authority,” says owner Dylan Rothbort. “We strive not to be like your average Minecraft server, I always try to keep into mind what is the best decision for not me, but the community.”
Recently SurvivalNationMC’s host, True World Gaming, was hacked. All of the host’s files were deleted, including all server files. Due to this, they have to start anew. “We think that the best way to start from scratch is to create a Kickstarter so that the community feels involved in the creation and growth of the server while it is still in its closed beta phase,” Dylan says. “We plan to host the server with our own server rack, that’s what our money from the Kickstarter is going to,” owner Christopher H. says. SurvivalNationMC will also be creating connected, or Bungeecord servers.
