Tucson, AZ — The final days are approaching for Super Mega Games’ Kickstarter for their digital trading card game “Mage Tower, A Tower Defense Card Game”. The game boasts tower defense gameplay in a card game format. Innovations include players getting their own card almost no one else has, cooperative play, customization of card images with stickers, and more potent booster packs than other games. Tuesday, July 14th is the last day to pledge.

“Players draft a unique deck before each game. Once the game starts, monsters pour out of the monster deck and players must use their deck’s strategy to fight the monsters and mess with opponents.

Each player receives an “Unreal Card”, which is a card that almost no one else has (it even says on the card how many other players own it.) This means players can see and experience new things each game. Adding to this feeling of exploration, players can put stickers on their cards to make funny images for other players to see.

To play with friends you can start a cooperative game against a “Boss Monster Challenge”. You can even play in the same room with controllers. For solo play there is a campaign that is designed to be played a lot for a long time, as well as the Boss Monster Challenges.

While still providing the fun of a TCG, Mage Tower has 4.5x more potent booster packs than other card games- making it faster to collect all the cards. Mage Tower aims to bring fun and exploration back to the genre while remaining simple and affordable.”
