What we are all about:

We love reclaiming relics from the past and what better way to prove our dedication to restoration than bringing our building back to life. From the structural brick walls to the original beadboard ceiling, we’re creating a space for everyone to enjoy. Our store will be focused on craftsmanship and grass roots ingenuity. We know how hard it is to be a start up company and get funded.

Our goal is to bring local artists together in one cohesive store to showcase their hard work. We want to provide an opportunity to get them more exposure and maximize customer interactions. In the meantime, we love seeing children grow and young couples come together as one. Hosting mix media art classes will be perfect for us because we get to be there with them from start to finish. Help us fund this project so we can help fund you in the future. We promise this will be a magical and unforgettable place for family and friends to gather to make a lifetime of new memories. We can’t wait to open our doors with you by our side.

So far, It has been an uphill battle every step of the way. Each day leads to more expenses and unknown stress. However, we have done our due diligence in securing our store and getting it ready for the big debut. We now just need your support to help fund our renovation and fill up our classes when we open our doors. Help us make our first 6 months our most fruitful and not our driest season.

About the owners:

Hi, I’m June Hutcheson. I studied graphic design at Stephen F. Austin State University. I’m in love with the arts and if I am not learning or teaching, I’m making innovative graphic art. This business idea is something I have wanted to do since I was 8 years old. Pipe and Palette would not be opening in 1 month, or possibly ever, if it wasn’t for my loving husband. He has truly stepped in and filled the gaps. I’ve been putting every ounce of effort into this for over two years now. I am a firm believer that no matter your obstacles, you can ALWAYS overcome them with the right mindset. I am extremely determined and I do not let setbacks discourage me. They only push me harder to find a different route to a solution.

Hi, I’m Brad Hutcheson. I’ve been a full-time professional firefighter/paramedic for over five years now, loving every second of it. Becoming a fireman has taught me to set lofty goals for myself and persevere through whatever adversities arise to obtain those goals. I work hard everyday to support my wife and provide her a loving, nurturing environment to achieve her aspirations. I believe, wholeheartedly, that what she is doing here will help so many people for years to come.
