About the company
BudLand was founded in May, 2015 by Tomer Rahavy and Lee Manor. Our goal is to raise positive awareness of the cannabis plant through original content and products. Our first product is Dealers Card Game: easy to pick up and hard to put down.
We intend to create an animated web show with all of the game characters. Our wish is to always grow as an organization, and to be not just a part of the cannabis development in the world, but a leader of it.
Number of plyers: 2-6
Ages: 18+
HOW THE GAME WORKS
There are three components in the game:
Sell Cards
Buy Cards
Money: $20 & $100 game- bills
Setting up the game:
Place the “Sell Deck” and the “Buy Deck” in the center of the table side by side.
Each player starts with:
6 Sell Cards
$300
On each turn:
Sell one “Sell Card” by placing a card facing up and calling the name of the player you wish to attack and collect the amount written on the card from that player.
Draw from the sell deck the same amount of cards used.
Draw one “Buy Card” and put it facing up in front of you.
Each time you draw, the new “Buy Card” is placed on top of the last one.
Then you pay the “Suppliers” (the game) the amount written on the card.
Goal:
Remain the last dealer standing.
Once you ran out of money and can’t make a deal you’re out of the game.
GAME RULES
Sell Cards:
The “Sell cards” are the weed that you sell to other players. They must pay the amount written on the card. There are also special cards that help you build a strategy in the game, (see “Special Cards” below).
Buy Cards:
The “Buy cards” are the payments for your Suppliers. You must draw one card at the end of your turn; if you’re lucky the game will offer you a business opportunity (see “Special Cards below).
10,000$ is the amount of money we need in order to print the first edition.
If we get more than that we will invest the money for making animated show.
How to read the cards:
On the top is the name of the strain.
The number on the left corner is the price.
The number on the scale is the weight.
For “Sell Cards” only: The symbol on the left side indicates the series of the card. If you hold two or more from the same series you’re allowed to sell them together in one turn. The number next to the symbol indicates on how many cards exist in the series.
Special Cards
PARANOIA
Sells for: $20
Effects: Opponent is unable to use “Sell Cards” on his next turn.
Rules: Opponent still draws a “Buy Card” on his turn
MR. GREEN
Sells for: $20
Effects: Opponent pays extra $20 the next time he/she draws a “Buy Card”.
Rules: You can sell up to three “Mr. Green” at once.
MUNCHER & SUPER MUNCHER
Sells for: $20 / $40
Effects: You can snatch one “Sell Card” from your opponent’s (Super Muncher snatches two).
BUDDY
Sells for: $40
Effects: Make a double sell, chose two players to attack and collect $20 from each.
Rules: Draw two “Sell Cards” at the end of your turn.
LICENSE
This is a keep card, put it faced up next to your buy cards pile.
Effects: Get $20 discount on any Buy Card you draw.
Rules: Activating a license card counts as using a “Sell Card”, however this is limited to one “Buy Card” per one turn. The License card does not expire unless a “Officer Bill”/”Busted” card is used on you.
OFFICER BILL
Price: $20-$180
Effects: Give a fine to one of the other players.
Rules: Opponent pays the money to you.
How it works: Each player has a “Buy Card used pile”. The fine is based on the weight of the top “Buy card” (1gr = $20 fine, 2gr = $40 fine, 3gr = $60 fine, etc.) In the case an opponent holds a “Dealer Card” there is an extra charge (1 dealer = $20 fine, 2 dealers = $60 fine, 3 dealers = $100 fine, etc.) If your opponent possess a “Grower” card or a “License” card (activated only) it will be “Confiscated” and tossed to the pile. If an opponent has both cards, he can decide which one of them to keep.
DRAW AGAIN
Pay: $20
Effects: Due to lack of grinder/lighter pay $20 and draw again.
GROWER
This is a keep card. You can use this in one of two ways. Either Pay $80 to use the “Grower”, put it face up next to your buy pile, or pay $20 and offer the “Grower” to an auction (see in “Guidelines”).
Effects: Get 20 dollars discount from any “Sell Card” used against you.
Rules: Limited to one sell card at a turn. A “Grower” card does not expire unless “Officer Bill”/”Busted card” is used on you.
DEALERS
This is a keep card. You can use this in one of two ways. Either pay $60 to connect with the Dealer, put it face up in front of you. Or pay $20 and offer the “Dealer” to an auction (see “Guidelines”).
Effects: Get $20 commission at the beginning of each turn.
Rules: The “Dealer” card does not expire unless the “Busted” card came up drawing a buy card.
BUSTED
Effects: Drop all you “Sell Cards” and draw three instead (This is card is one of a kind).
GUIDELINES
In case of an Auction the card’s bid starts at $20.
Auction Rules:
1. The player that passed the “Grower” to an auction is out of the bid.
2. If only one player accepts the bid he gets the card.
3. If two players or more accept, the price will go up by $20. The last player to accept the bid is now committed to the new price and the others can choose to enter another round. This goes on until only one player accepts it.
4. If no player accepts the bid the card is tossed to the pile.
5. Money goes to “Suppliers”(the game). NO TURNING BACK FROM A BID!
Forgot to draw a “Sell Card” and it’s not your turn anymore? You just lost that card forever.
NO RETRO DRAWING!
Rules for snatching cards with the “Muncher” and “Super Muncher”:
1. No peeking at opponents cards.
2. No hiding cards or false signaling from opponent side.
3. Player draws a new “Sell Card” even after snatching one.
In case of finishing the Buy/Sell Deck shuffle the used cards and keep the game going.
“License” card can be used only once at a turn. If you draw a “Draw Again” card, the “License” will affect only first Buy Card.
It’s not a crime to group against the strongest player in order to take him out of the game…
“Viva la resistance”
To use more than one “Sell Card” in a single turn you must have two or more “Sell Cards” from the same series, including “Mr. Green”…

Origin Story
Tomer and Lee began their journey of making the first weed dealing card game right around the time of their first taste from the cannabis plant, and just like that a new habit of creative meetings and deep discussions on “Why is weed illegal?” was born.
Don’t get them wrong, the Dealer’s team do not believe that cannabis is going to solve all of the world’s problems, but it is time to raise some awareness of the recreational wonders that cannabis provides to a large diverse market of people, and Dealer’s Card Game is that platform.

Risks & Challenges
The making of Dealer’s Card Game is not just printing and sending a bunch of good looking cardboard boxes filled with fun and cool characters; it is also the creation of our vision.
As we started making this game we knew that there were going to be some challenges along the way, and to make things more interesting there is also the risk of failing. The bottom line is that once we picked our target, there is no turning back and we can only do the best we can possibly do, while the rest is up to you.
