My name is Nick Tellier and It kills me to see how some kids that have Down Syndrome, ADHD, Autism, or any other disorder, struggle trying to fit in. They can’t help what they are thinking and saying. Well now it’s time for a change. The game target six important issues that students often struggle with: – morals – manners – problem solving – friendship – showing/managing emotions.In small groups, kids and parents will solve questions, do silly activities, and even a scavenger hunt!
This game is still in its infancy stages therefore i am using the pledged money to create the prototype. The rules and regulations of the games have been created.
There are no right or wrong answers in this board game! This game includes physical activities including a scavenger hunt with emotion stress balls for the child to identify the different types of emotions. Together the group decides upon the best action encouraging all players to communicate, listen and participate in the game. The games target six important issues that students often struggle with: – morals – manners – problem solving – friendship – showing/managing emotions. Ideal for use in small groups, this game will encourage your students/child to work together as they learn to improve their social skills. Contains 1 game board, deck of cards, 6 different colored die, 1 spinner (1-6) and 12 stress balls containing all different types of emotions all in one 3″ (height) box.
All money will be apointed toward the development and prototype of the Board Game and to start my business. Which again is in its infancy stages.
