A successful pitch on ABC’s Shark Tank led entrepreneur Megan Cummins down a path of serial entrepreneurship. After selling the company featured on the show, Cummins launched Sparklepop, where she sought to re-invent fashion jewelry.

Sparklepop launches Mixers, a jewelry collection that blurs the line between customer and designer, for pre-orders on Kickstarter May 16, 2017. Mixers let the customer quickly swap out baubles and chains to create infinite jewelry combinations. This new modular jewelry collection provides a more affordable solution for the trend-chasing customer and taps into the DIY fashion trend.

Sparklepop brings accessibility and expression to the table in Mixers with easy to clip baubles that work on any of their bases –- necklace chains, chokers and bracelets. The decorative baubles come in packs of three and five for a balanced look. Mixers also offer extra elements, called “Amplifiers”, to create a more elaborate look with ease.

“DIY and customization is so popular because people have an innate need to express themselves. Mixers let you do that without needing tools or a big investment. It really feels like magic – getting to stick things together and it instantly becomes a finished piece of jewelry. I haven’t seen anyone try it and not get excited, ” Sparklepop founder Megan Cummins.

To share the excitement with Sparklepop’s quickly growing following, they chose to launch via Kickstarter to show the development process to their fans. To get supporters involved, they created a Mixers app for users to design and share their Mixer creations on social media platforms like Pinterest and Instagram.
