I’m working on a new project whose mission is to make it easier for young customers and design lovers decorating in a fun way a variety of living spaces and I was wondering if you would be willing to share my story!

Since1984 is a FUNCTIONAL and VERSATILE modular system that that can be used in small living spaces, showrooms, loft or office…!!! Users can play with it transforming their spaces by moving the pieces… sitting on them, gathering around during a movie night!
Now I am gonna tell you the story behind Since1984… Let me start with a few questions. What comes to your mind when you think of the 80’s ?
It reminds me of Big Brother and Pop culture, video games and bright colors!! As an architect and an artist I wanted to celebrate that age and got inspired to create a new design collection.
But how? I didn’t want to use any moulds or plastic…basically just wood and fasteners that could be part of the design , made it locally…with sustainable material. The goal was to create something that was easy to use every where every time!
Why is since 1984 so SPECIAL?
It is a simple game, each module could be aligned as you wish to create the formation you want! Use it as a storage, as a sculpture on your wall or add some functionality to it and use it as a bookshelf!
It brings people together. It will make you laugh! It is a conversation piece. Most importantly it inspires creativity in whoever is around it. Everyone can be a designer or an artist while using it!
