WHY THE APS21? We want to protect the health of the football players at all levels, kids, juniors, Am-amateurs and Pro’s. Did you know that 34% of injuries in football are caused by damage to ankle ligaments? Furthermore, players who have sustained previous ankle injuries are at an increased risk of recurrent injuries in the future due to instability? Our research has shown a startling number of young players giving up because of injuries related to their ankle
That’s why we want to share with you, our latest innovative design that reduce the risk of ankle injury to players and helps to maximise performance speed and endurance by protecting the ankle from im-pact as well as increasing stability. We have built a flexible system that provides you with a shield construction made of high impact plastic and cushioned materials underneath to protect you against direct impacts, studs scratches and avoid bleeding injuries, open cuts, micro-fractures, and ligaments damages.
Football, soccer and Baseball are the most widely recognized sport in the world yet the most basic concept of a boot that protects the ankle has not been addressed… until now! This design has the potential to revolutionize the game for so many people, especially kids who have not yet fully developed by allowing them to play on!
We truly want everyone to benefit from wearing these boots but first, we need to launch the product. We are a small company and are looking to spread the word of our boot in a kickstarter campaign in order to raise the money we need to start the project.
