Soheresone launched its Kickstarter-Campaign on October 10th, 2017 soheresone launches their first physical product on the crowdfunding site Kickstarter. Soheresone is a startup company based in Amsterdam the Netherlands, founded in 2017. Their uniquely designed deck of cards has the sole purpose to help players engage in meaningful and amazing conversations.
Whatever question was passed around, it always resulted in deeply personal conversations“, says Tim Kock, co-owner of the Cafe Barbaar, who playtested the game in his café. Each card deck by soheresone contains 55 questions and all of them help to get to know yourself and everyone around you a little bit better. Every card confronts you with a question you might never have been asked before. It’s a social game with no rules, unless you make up your own.
With their slogan „It’s questions like these“ soheresone tries to engage players in a game that could potentially lead far beyond to just answering the original question. The game can be played with family, friends or even strangers, it can be played as a drinking game, family game or it can be used to get to know your blind date a little bit better.
Starting their Kickstarter Campaign on October 10th and with different card decks available:
• The Onesie white deck containing 55 unique questions
• The Onesie black deck also containing 55 unique and different questions
• The Twosie containing one white and one black deck
• The Twosie Deluxe containing the 55 white and 55 black cards in a exclusively for Kickstarter designed box.
All packages are also available in a limited Christmas Edition, wrapped and ready to surprise your loved ones under the christmas tree. More packages will be shipped in January. An early bird, so-called “onesie” deck costs 17 Euros.
It all started with an Instagram account called @soheresone founded by Hakim Sugito. He started posting similar questions, asking people things like “what superpower would you choose?” and “what would you tell your 16 year old self?”. Much to his surprise a lot of people responded. The experiment soon grew to be a movement fueled by questions and leading to beautiful conversations. As a way to pass time on a trip to Bali, Hakim designed a card game
I printed out some questions on playing cards. And the conversations we had were amazing. Usually it takes time to get to know a person, but this game even opened up strangers on a magical personal level“, says Hakim, founder of soheresone. By bringing the questions offline, soheresone wants to make room for interesting conversations.
