Since the dawn of time mankind has been tortured by nightmares. They turned to the heavens for protection. And while the Gods are falling over each other for attention, man dreams about the divine.

In Dreamcatcher you play as a divine entity, in a contest to confine nightmares that trouble mankind. It’s a quick card game for 2-6 players, that plays out over several rounds. The game uses the prisoner’s dilemma as the basis, but adds the concept of spending dream power, which affects your strategy as the game progresses.

Each round, players need to spend their dream power in an attempt to catch nightmares, and make a careful decision to either play fair, or to cheat. Anticipate the actions of your fellow gods and outwit them at every turn.

What reviewers write about Dreamcatcher:

‘Each time you pull out Dreamcatcher you’re in for a different experience, depending on how well you know the other players, how often you’ve played the game, or if you took out their 12 card for the cost of a 1 in the previous go. The artwork and theme are lovely. I love the simple infographic style artwork and the dream-themed decks work very well. All in all, a few hands of Dreamcatcher is a great way to spend time with friends, get inside their minds and become their worst nightmare – somebody who tricks them every time!’ — GeekDad.com

‘Very easy to learn and play, yet it makes you stop and think each time you play. Just like any good trick-taking game, you will be paying attention to all all other players and what cards they have played.’ — Everythingboardgames.com
