Now you can play the Phygital Social Game that will make you face the challenges of the 21st century.
Two opposing teams and hidden identities. Andrana Project has all the ingredients of a deduction game but with no turns, no master, or any physical element required. You only need to gather a group of friends with Smartphones and Internet connection. This is a Phygital Social Game, so there are things that happen on the device and others that have to be solved face to face.
As explained by Bárbara Domínguez, co-founder of Muquo, “unlike in other conventional games for smartphones, users have to talk and persuade their opponents, using imagination as a graphic engine and reality as a scenario”.
Real-time strategy, emotional intelligence and rapid deduction capacity are necessary to solve the great dilemmas of our time: where does the exacerbated technological development take us? To what extent is it worth sacrificing our privacy in exchange for security? Does it make sense to build walls to protect our lifestyle? How does respect for nature and human rights coexist in 2067?
At the start of the game the players discover their position on these issues but they do not know who is on their side. They have little time to act, observe, talk, draw conclusions and decide a strategy. Before they know it they will be in the next round.
Everything is registered. Teamwork is as important as individual work. The players have a follow-up of the games played, their opponents and achievements. They will be able to know their position in different rankings of the game (group of friends, location or the whole community).
Not everything is digital; lovers of the physical element can add “Andrana Core”, a device that connects with the application making the experience even more Phygital and fun. By placing your mobile on Andrana Core, you can get a clue, gain an extra attack, recover life or even steal an action from an opponent. The strategy multiplies!
A closed Alpha version is already available and has a community of beta testers involved in its creation. Since November 7, the Kickstarter campaign has the goal of reaching more people and making Andrana Project a reality.
Muquo Games is a company formed by lovers of board games, technology and video games who are convinced that playing in a group and face to face is more fun.
