The worst enemy to a climber’s progression is the wall the climber never attempts.
Never be stopped again with the Firefly! Leaving gear then has a snowball effect, meaning you will drive right past the local eatery because that money you were going to spend tonight’s post climb culinary celebration, is now going into your “I need more carabiners for my project fund”. No matter how much you save, there is always another carabiner to buy for that next wall. The cycle goes on and on.
Just because this is the way it has always been does not mean that this is how it has to be. Why not climb that project, and then enjoy the rest of the night. With the Firefly, you no longer have to choose between a great day on the wall and a good time on the town.
