When I go camping I like to do it properly. Cooking on a log fire and catching my own fish. I have spent many years camping and over this time I have purchased many many survival kits and never found one that’s really fit for purpose. Bent shovels, broken axes and saws that won’t cut butter. This led me to develop my own. I’ve been using mine for 2 years now. I made a saw you can cut logs with, an ax you can chop a tree down with, a shovel and pick you can dig holes with and a hammer that will smash rocks. I also included items I needed on a daily basis while camping. Paracord, rechargeable torch with a solar panel that will not only charge your torch but will also charge your phone.
A filleting knife and a survival knife with a leather sheath, also fishing line and hooks, cotton and needles and safety pins. Also included on the ax head there are spanners ranging from 8mm up to 14mm for those who like to take there bicycle and a bottle opener. All of this product is hand made, however, if the funding goal is reached a lot of this will be cut on a water jet or plasma cutting machine and finished by hand, this will result in a much neater finish. All the steel parts of this product go through a hardening process to ensure this product stays up to the task it is designed for, the kit includes everything apart from the iPhone. I want this product to be the best, that’s why with the your help (backers only) I will be asking if you have any ideas to improve this in any way. All this comes in a roll up case with shoulder strap for easy carrying, we will also be including stretch goals, we want to make the case that includes a stove and with your help this is possible.
