To prepare you for the upcoming battle you will be supplied the following items necessary for a successful escape from Z-Topia!
(24) ZOMBIE DICE – (4 sets of 6 dice in varied colors)
(1) BOOSTER Die
(10) Zombie LEADER Cards
(18) Zombie RELIC Cards
(4) Player Mats
(1) Power Generator
(5) Standard Power Spikes – (1 pt. each)
(1) High Output Power Spike – (2 pt. each)
(100) Horde tokens (in 50, 100, 500, and 1,000 zombie denominations!)
OBJECTIVE:
As Zombie Leaders recruit a “Horde” of at least 5,000 zombies they may begin attacking the Power Spikes that protect the Generator. After Zombie Leaders have destroyed ALL Pwer Spikes, each Zombie Leader will score any successfully destroyed Power Spikes. The Zombie Leader who has scored the most Power Spike will be the winner and lead the Zombies back into the free world to resume doing the zombie stuff they loved before being so aggressively forced into Z-topia by the humans!
Some Zombie vocabulary to help along the way!:
FARKLE {FAHR-kul} verb: The event that occurs when no scoring dice can be set aside on any given roll. So it is like dropping a whole bowl of brain cheese on the ground! A waste and no fun!
Zombie Leader {ZOM-BEE Leed-er} You and all the other great players sitting around you!
The CARD types:
ZOMBIE LEADER Cards: These are the zombies with a little remaining thought process and whole lotta determination! They have heard of the humans plans to destroy “Z-Topia” and they are not having it! These cards can be used anytime during your turn, except as noted on the individual cards!
ZOMBIE RELIC Cards: Items can be used anytime as nted on each card. These cards will be discarded after use to keep “Z-topia” clean and green!
GAME REFERENCE:
Player Turn Summary – Player may choose one action at start of turn: (A) Horde building, (B) Leader Battle, or (c) Escape Plan!
Horde building:
Roll (6) ZOMBIE dice and (1) BOOSTER dice: set aside at least one scoring dice. Use the BOOSTER die to determine if you gain or lose the amount of zombies rolled from your Horde. A (+) sign on the BOOSTER die means double your scoring roll and take that many Horde tokens, A (-) sign on the BOOSTER die means LOSE that many zombies from your Horde and return that many Horde tokens, No sign on the BOOSTER die means take that the amount of Horde tokens. If you choose, you may continue rolling unscored dice until a FARKLE is rolled, ending that players turn. Be wise as you build your Horde!
Leader Battle:
Attack another Zombie Leader’s horde to steal from his acquired Horde!
Attacker will roll (6) ZOMBIE dice and (1) BOOSTER dice, as in Horde Building.
Defender will roll (5) ZOMBIE dice and (1) BOOSTER dice, as in Horde Building.
Compare the rolled scores! The winner receives the difference between the scored rolls from the defeated Leader AND an additional 500 Zombies from the token pile!
Any player who FARKLES during a Leader Battle will end their turn and receive a score of (0)!
Escape Plan (Generator Attack) – 5,000 Zombie Horde:
Roll (6) ZOMBIE dice and (1) BOOSTER dice at start of turn, per the following result:
(+) Side of Booster Die – Destroy one Power Spike. Set Power Spike near your player mat to score at game end. Next, set aside all scoring dice, and continue your turn. This was a perfect attack! NO Zombies from your horde were harmed…even the one in the back picking his nose!
(-) Side of Booster Die – Your attack missed and you failed to destroy any Power Spikes! Set aside all scoring dice, return this many zombies back to the token pile and continue your turn. This was a miserable attack! Well, at least you lost that zombie in the back picking his nose!
Blank Side of Booster Die with Scoring Dice – Your attack missed and you failed to destroy any Power Spikes, but you have not lost any Zombies yet either! Set aside all scoring dice and continue your turn. This was a nil attack! No Power Spikes destroyed, but your Horde survived to make it to the next battle!
Blank Side of Booster Die with No Scoring Dice (FARKLE!)– Your attack missed and your Zombie horde retreated! Your turn is now over as your mighty Horde turned tail at the sight of a FARKLE!
