Monsters & Magic introduces over 100 new monsters and magic items to the fifth edition of everyone’s favorite roleplaying game. The book is designed to be useful for novice and expert players – offering many tips and tales, as well as ready-for-use mini-dungeons that reduce prep time. For GMs the book holds a wellspring of information that helps them introduce these new creatures and items into their campaign smoothly and effortlessly. Stories and hooks will inspire you, while the mini-dungeons provide a night full of entertainment for your players with minimal prep-time on your part. For players the book holds interesting new races, familiars, mounts and companions, as well as a ton of items for their character’s wish list. To prevent important information to be spoiled and surprises to be ruined we will mark areas that are interesting to players separately in the index.
Monsters
For this project we’ve decided to turn our attention to monsters from our own neck of the woods: creatures inspired by European legends. There will also be a wellspring of new creatures, from the morbid and deadly, to whimsical and innocent. No matter what kind of GM you are, there will be something in here for you. There will be opportunities for combat, roleplaying, diplomacy and amazement for adventurers of any level. The hooks and mini-dungeons help you prepare for your upcoming session. Short stories and detailed descriptions of monster biology, culture and psychology are intended to both inspire you and offer a doorway into imagination when you just want to sit back with a book. Players will find interesting new races, as well as companions, familiars and mounts. There will be some unique items strewn in, as well as numerous other little extras. Because we understand that it will be interesting to encounter these creatures and items spoiler-free we let you know which parts to avoid reading.

Items
Magic items can be just rewards to brave heroes, but whole plots can revolve around mystical treasures. In this book you’ll find plenty of interesting items that can be either, or both. We’re entering new areas of design with magical consumable items, tool-kits and linked items. You’ll find everything, from low-level trinkets that brim with flavor, to artifacts that rest comfortably in the hands of gods.
Come join us, legends await! We’re already over 150% funded.
