When people fall in love, they usually have to deal with family struggles, or finding the perfect gift for Christmas…

But not all people are so lucky.

Kevin and Diana are two blind bloggers in a long distance relationship for 4 years and they’ve never met.

Their biggest dream is to meet.

They tried to find a job online or in their city, but when they explain that they’re fully blind suddenly all possible offers disappear with a polite “We don’t have the equipment for you.”

The couple launched a blog last year in the hope of monetizing it…In time. They’ve been willing to wait even more to meet but life isn’t always forgiving.

Kevin’s mother died of cancer in April this year and now, all Diana wants is to be there for him.

The problem is that the plane tickets are expensive and the $500 they saved aren’t enough.

They aren’t lucky enough to be from countries where blind people receive good support like Australia, Canada, UK or

US and they need your help. They launched a campaign to raise money for 3 plane tickets.

Diana will go in his country with her sighted mother because Kevin’s country isn’t safe enough for her to go alone and his city doesn’t have an international airport. After they meet, he will return to her country with Diana and her mother. There they will do their best to find a way to stay together and close the distance. For all of this to be possible they need help.

You can read more of their story on their site: www.ourblindlife.com

Distance can be beaten. For 4 years, all they’ve had was a voice. Now they need a hug, they need each other.

After they are together in Diana’s country, what remains from the money offered by the ones who decide to help will be donated to Worldwide Cancer Research because they want to know that in time a cure will be found so others wouldn’t suffer like them.
