My name is Julien Debelle Duplan and I’m from Milford, CT. I recently graduated Sacred Heart University. I am inquiring about a possible press release. I am launching a start-up soon that I believe would be a great feature. I’ve created the first custom product for an already popular drinking game. I’ve partnered with a successful company out of Chicago (Bierstick) that has a similar product in the same space.
However, what I think would be a cool feature is how my company will be manufacturing the product here locally in Connecticut with an old shop that’s been around for 30+ years! It would highlight entrepreneurship and manufacturing with a local mom and pop shop! I’ve spent the last two years developing this product while maintaining corporate America jobs!
Our Kickstarter so far has been a huge success without the help of any agencies. We truly believe that this will be the next biggest drinking game on the market. The game has been around since the 1980’s and was developed in England! Typically people just any bowl, cup, shot glass, blender, or container to play this wild game. When I learned the game my senior in college I knew someone needed to make a custom product for it. I remember when we first started playing there were lines of people at parties waiting to play this game.
I knew something was there… but no product existed. As soon as I graduated college and started working full-time I decided to start investing money into the “idea”. I spent the next two years teaching myself plastic manufacturing, e-commerce, logistics, branding, marketing, content creation & a whole bunch of drinking!
My products custom features for the game include fingers slots for players fingers, a drinking spout for the loser, a sturdy base and a shot glass holder. It will be the next biggest drinking game mark my words. Cheers!!!
