Exciting UK Feature “One Ride” Launches @ Indie Gogo

American Filmmaker Brandon A Gibbs has teamed up with a talented cast of UK/US actors and filmmakers to bring the fast paced Indie Feature “One Ride” to a finishing campaign. This independent feature campaign seeks to raise a minimum of $2000 to complete the film, 50% completed, by September 13th, to be done and submitted to major film festivals in the US and UK in 2014.

“One Ride”  starts with the nervous Ben in a confusing day of his eccentric life. Ben, a London cyclist and student has a variety of connections in London, one including his doting Boss Pat, at the pizza shop, his eclectic genius roommate Jay, and a set of past friends, who may not fare well with his future. Johanna is a rockstar, life of the party girl, and she along with London punks Pete, Tim, and Alexander have a confusing past with Ben, that borders on friendship and taunting. As Ben cares to say goodbye to his inauthentic party days with Johanna and friends, he gets a chance to connect with the new and virtuous Alena. Much to his chagrin, Ben finds that breaking off with the old game won’t come easy, especially with his last pizza delivery to Johanna in the old stomping grounds.

What is faced in “One Ride” is a human dilemma where a man has to choose between his past and his future. Dialog and interaction between Ben and each character paints a different side of the choice, and makes for a compelling solution in the end as an adventure and redemption.
