I’m David and I’m the founder of 10thAve. Originally, a specialty store was not the goal, when I set out to be an entrepreneur. Fortunately, I met a mentor, (a Google employee), who changed my perspective completely and taught me about branding.
Armed with a totally new vision. I staffed up and went to my home town of New York to refine the vision and capture, what the name “10thAve” really meant to me.
Currently, our first flagship offering will be the “Gold Sunrise” watch, and we also have a gorgeous ladies’ handbag, “Primera” that some of our 10thAver’s cannot wait to get their hands on.
As you know, the early stages of startups can be challenging. I made sure of it that I would be giving my customers the best quality. I decided to work with only the best manufacturers, for a high-quality product.
After receiving my samples of the products a lot of friends and family were shocked that I even made this happen. Listen I’m a truck driver who had three surgeries on my knee due to a really bad basketball injury. Moving on I always had the mind to make things happen. I thought to myself while I was in bed rest this past summer from my last surgery in April. How could I gain financial freedom for me and my three young kids? So I did the research and put in the countless hours of work. Now here I am. I started this endeavor in June so where I am now. I feel good but have to strive for better.
