Affordable, powerful & open-source digital servo motors with Torque, Speed, Position Feedback and full 360-degree rotation mode.

Serially connected digital motors with Position, Temperature, Speed, and Voltage feedback..!

SB Serial Servos supports baud-rate up to 1000000 bauds, providing high-speed communication between controller and motors.

Whether you are on a Mac or a Windows system or it’s the Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ARM, AVR SB Serial Servo is compatible with all of them. With the serial communication protocol of SB Serial Servo, you don’t have to worry about hardware or language. You are free to choose the hardware you are familiar with and the language you have command on.

SB Serial Servos are connected directly to a half-duplex UART channel. Once you have connected one motor, the other motors can be cascaded one after another as each motor have two connectors.

If you don’t have a half-duplex UART channel, we have made servo shields for making it compatible with all of your devices. These shields will provide proper power to your servos and ease the connections. We offer two shields-

Universal Servo Shield

Raspberry Pi Servo Shield
Although both the shields are the same by functionality, the Universal Servo Shield can be connected to any device, controller, or processor via a USB cable or pins. The servo shield is powered from an external power source to provide proper power to the servos.

The Raspberry Pi Servo Shield is a stackable shield for Raspberry Pi. It provides easy connections and can power your Raspberry Pi with its on-board supply.

Serial Communication Packet Format for SB Serial Servo is a set of rules to instruct the servos to act in accordance. The packets are aligned in order such that servos recognise the commands.

As the SB Serial Servos are hardware-independent, any programming language that can communicate serially with the hardware can use this format to drive these servos.

SB Components have always been contributing to the open-source community. All our products always have open-source hardware and software, so will be SB Serial Servos. All the details and related files will be available on our website.
