New York — May 6, 2020 – Adama Design Inc. announced the release of TerraPlanter, an innovative solution to growing plants indoors. TerraPlanter holds water on the inside and diffuses it outwards, sustaining the plant that grows on the surface.
A clean and low maintenance hydroponic planter, TerraPlanter requires no soil or dirt … only water. It was designed with a proprietary ceramic material that has just the right amount of porosity and hygroscopic tendencies to allow water to diffuse through the material and fosters the plant to grow on the surface. Its micro-texture was designed for plant roots to grip the surface and become one with the planter.
The TerraPlanter is a vessel that acts as a water bank. The water is held in the vessel and is slowly diffused through the material to the cells on the surface for the plant to drink, allowing you to water less often. Plant roots grow on the surface with constant access to both water and air.
The naked TerraPlanters’ aesthetic was designed to match any urban interior living space. Add your choice of plant and create your one-of-a-kind piece. A lid keeps water clean and prevents evaporation, while a base collects excess water.
The TerraPlanter is made from 100% natural materials and it can be re-used with new plants any time. The TerraPlanter works with various types of plants, including chia, grass, begonia, ferns, moss, baby tears, and more. There are four different ways to grow plants with TerraPlanter: 1. Rub spores onto the surface; 2. Wrap a climbing plant around; 3. Use rubber bands to mount plant roots; and 4. Cover it with seeds of your choice.
Each TerraPlanter also includes a Guide to Green for successful plant growth … from beginners to experts.
Adama Design is taking pre-orders of TerraPlanter with prices starting at $49 at kck.st/2ymTyP3 with an expected delivery date of October 2020. For more info, visit www.terraplanter.com.
