According to Yaguang Wang, the founder of G-Trike LLC, “Many golfers have problems while playing golf. The slow pace when walking and carrying golf bags or using a push cart can cause fatigue easily for older golfers; the lack of exercise when driving a golf cart and the additional cost of rental. Ideally, G-Trike can be used on golf courses with cart paths and a generally flat terrain. Golfers can always opt to push the G-Trike on hilly slopes.” The wide low-pressure tires of G-Trike make it ridable on fairways. Besides the key feature of the detachable and foldable frames, which is designed for easy transportation and storage, its brakes have parking locks to prevent the G-Trike from moving when parked.

The handlebars are also retractable and detachable. The G-Trike is patent pending. The prototype is made by Chinese manufacture and the product will be made in China. G-Trike LLC is looking for fund to make production order. If the project successfully funded on Kickstarter, backers’ rewards are expected to be delivered in June 2019. The product has been tested on different golf courses and have good feedback from gofers, friends, and pros. Some golf courses show their interest in this product, too. The goal of G-Trike is to give golfers more option to play golf, besides walking and driving a golf cart. G-Trike hopes it can save golfers’ time, gain exercise, and save cart rental. The innovation of golf can bring more people to play golf.
