In 2014, he answers a call for projects related to use of nanosats and Mars conquest, and he presents his one. But it will take money and time to materialize his dream. Meanwhile, he and his partner imagined how to share their passion. They decided to create a company linking space and games.
FROM SPACE TO VIDEO GAME
DARK AGENT has been developed with the purpose to share their imaginary world and to capitalize on themselves.
They come out with an innovative board game that features Solo, Coop or VS play in a strategic and original with highly refined game play. Each player (from 1 to 6 players) is the head of a national secret service agency.
The game has a good ratio interest vs complexity and the complexity is easily tuned at the start of the game. Creators admit that playing Dark Agent requires to be played 2 or 3 times before being addict, and this is why they focused on rules illustrations.
Rudolf, the designer of the game says “Dark Agent has already been designed and play-tested, and reached the game play maturity required by very demanding players before the Kickstarter campaign starts.” He and his team plays the game on line for free to improve the board game version and challenge players to defeat them (which already occurred many times).
“My strategy is simple : I move my satellites to spot and place as fast as possible all my agents on the theater of operations to unlock the use the special power of my intelligence service agency”. In the game, com to agents on the theater of operations is made possible with the help of satellites (each agency owns 3 satellites) to send move or attack orders, to designate targets or grab equipment for your agents.
The game uses an unique board mechanics for the rotation of the Earth and satellites moves, and offers endless strategy possibilities. The kickstarter campaign that ends by March 11th offers for each country that pledge the corresponding agency (more than 100 agencies exist across the world) and an unique power.
