Chippenham, UK — November 4, 2015 | Element24 Watches are minimalist watches with true character that were created through modern manufacturing processes. Their design captures the beauty of the rarely achieved balance between precision and subtlety. Built with only the highest quality materials, Element24 watches are made to last.

Some features of this watch are a 316L stainless steel case and a sapphire crystal watch face, water resistance up to 5ATM (50 meters), and Miyota 1L45 quartz movement with separate second hand. There are two style options available for the watch band: leather or alcantara (high performance, Italian micro-suede) and the choice of either a PVD grey or Stainless Steel finish. The Element24 color palette is deliberately narrow, and watches are designed to be worn by men and women.

“The minimal design of the watches means that choosing the right materials is really important. Materials give character, but also tactility and feel to the design. When you pick them up the weight feels right, reassuringly heavy for such a thin profile.” explains David Gray, one of the designers.

Ben and David worked together to design the Element24 watch. Ben has a background in industrial design engineering in the medical field. He has led teams to produce leading medical devices that are used in health care facilities around the world. David is a senior product designer with experience bringing innovative products to high street. He works predominantly with furniture, but has also brought luggage and woodwork machinery products to market.

To raise funds for mass production, Ben and David are launching a Kickstarter campaign. Three different models of the Element24 watches can be preordered until 8/12/15: Stainless Steel with Leather Strap, Stainless Steel with Alcantara Strap, and PVD Grey with Alcantara Strap.
