About the Production
Exclusion has been in production for three years now. I spent about eight months for pre-production and writing the script. I got a grant of three thousand euros from a local cultural fund. In addition my school at the time, Suupohja vocational institute, lent a great deal of help by giving access to filming gear and a small monetary support. The film was shot over the following three months, at five different towns. Different shooting locations eventually ranked up to thirteen.
Before Exclusion I spent a few years making all kinds of short films on YouTube. Not all of them are on display nowadays, but I made a total of about a hundred of them. Three years ago I was at our school’s theater, to showcase my six minute short film ‘Meeting of the worlds’. After finishing that film I asked myself how to raise the bar even higher with my next project, so here we are: Working on a feature film!
we have over 500 vfx shots, and most of them have been completely shot against a green screen. I love effects and my film contains some unseen and very creative scenes, which I bet you’ve never experienced before!
What We Need
We have a tight production plan how to best approach the sound design and production. All we need is a little help to make the sound complete and pitch perfect. The cut and visual effects of the film are totally ready to go, and our composer is working on the soundtrack at this very moment. But otherwise than that, we have no sounds in place yet. We have a three-step plan, and we can launch the first part of it very soon. My fridge back home is already empty, so I can’t afford to complete the two following steps. Here’s where we need you! We need a total of 2500 euros to finish the post-production of the film. If we can reach that goal, we can guarantee a delivery of the finished product within the next six months.
