Hello my name is Alfarouk Elzohery, I am a Senior computer engineering student in the American University of Sharjah. I am expected to graduate after completing one more semester, but due to the staggering costs and the implications associated with the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak; I could become unable to complete my degree. My family has been severely affected by the current situation that is laying its mark on the entire world, which ultimately makes the ability of my parents to cover my tuition fees become small. My family’s source of income relies directly on our small family business, and just like numerous businesses we are temporarily closed in compliance with safety precautions to limit the spread of the pandemic. The current situation requires us humans to stand together, and help each other in any mean possible.
Being able to graduate means a lot to me and my family, nothing would bring more joy to my family than completing my final steps towards becoming a computer engineer. This campaign intends on reviving my hopes of earning my degree and making my family proud. It is always a great source of disappoint to come so close towards something, and then losing it while you are inches away. Where I stand now is being few inches away from my target, and only you could help me reach it with your help.
As of now I need to pay all my outstanding tuition fees in order to be allowed to get enrolled to my final year. I have converted the due amount into USD to ease the support process, the outstanding amount in UAE local currency is about 108,000 AED. Every small donation is appreciated and it would bring me close towards my dream.
In addition, I could also provide a small service in return of your donation. For instance, I could help you understand something about tech, help (but not solve) with your son/daughter homework, listen to you talk about anything and give you my opinion it, give my recommendation about something, follow on social media or anything else as long as its appropriate.
