The Innovo Pizza Grill Stand took its place on Kickstarter alongside a handful of other new product ideas, screen plays, and noteworthy initiatives on Monday, March 7, 2016. After one day, it has reached 21% of its funding goal.
The driving force of our invention was a need to make really great pizza on our backyard grill. You know the kind of pizza we’re talking about—with a nice airy, yet crunchy crust with bubbling toppings. We tried so many different ways, yet never got the results we wanted. Through trial and error, we finally came up with the perfect solution: the Innovo Pizza Grill Stand.
Anyone can use the Innovo Pizza Grill Stand on their backyard grill to bake perfect pizza. It’s a complete kit, including a stainless steel stand, pizza stone and digital temperature guage that fits in almost any gas grill. (See images attached.) The stainless steel plates on the Innovo Pizza Grill Stand absorb large amounts of radiant heat much in the same way as the brick in a brick oven. A custom sized pizza stone rests on top of the steel plates, elevating the pizza away from a grill’s burners resulting in perfectly cooked pizza every time. It typically takes between 3-5 minutes to make most pizzas with an Innovo Pizza Grill Stand.
