Jason Must Live (…or Die)
A game of pigs, strategy and incredible Superpowers!!
This is an unusual battle card game, where you will have to collect as many cards as you can, in order to make yourself stronger.
“Jason Must Live” is a project that I really enjoyed doing it. I wanted to design a game, which even having simple rules were competitive and fun.
There are many games in my childhood, which had these things, and I remember my friends and I having fun for hours, with the most simple games. Things like that are a bit lost nowadays, somehow.
I wanted to try a card game of this kind because we live surrounded by technology, so, this is my contribution to a simple good time between friends and laughs. Hand-drawn and childlike, just like old times, between notebooks and jokes. As simple as that.
The game includes:
-108 poker size cards (Superpower cards, Attack cards, Defense cards and Battle cards)
+ 18 NSFW cards with some inappropriate content + Instructions + Rigid box
HOW TO PLAY?
Each player starts with 4 cards only
On your turn, you can:
-Draw a card
-Use a Superpower card
If you draw a Battle card, you have to fight!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
-Choose your opponent and start with an Attack card.
-Your opponent can use another Attack card, a Superpower card or a Defense card.
-The battle will go on until someone want to surrender.
-In this case, the loser will follow the rules of the last card on the table.
WHO WINS?
If you lose all your cards, you lose. The winner is the player who resists more battles and and keep standing on the table most of the time.
The game takes between 20 – 40 minutes.
