Florida born and raised now in Texas for 2 years, needs a neighborly helping hand, please. I drive for Uber and Lyft and I’m dead in the water without my vehicle especially day to day paycheck to paycheck which I know I’m not the only one dealing with that. To be honest I lost my full time gig, I work in Radio Broadcasting. I was driving for fun but now it turned full time. One thing after another and BAM my car is in impound. UPDATE: I just found out the charge is $218.00 as of tonight, going up $22/day plus the cost of another key $130
Where to begin.. car issues started with overheating then the cooling fan system went out, then I thought the alternator went but it was just a wire shorting out. Then I tried to piece and part the cooling fan back to working order instead of replacing the assembly and being done. So my immediate concern is to get my car from the tow lot, it overheated yet again and I could not get it moved so it got towed. My main source of income at the moment is driving Uber and Lyft as I search for the next full time radio gig.
Thanks again for taking a look and throwing anything in that you can at at my little dilemma. You’re sure appreciated.
