Heptagon! A childhood addiction; solid, high quality, pocket-sized, elegant toy designed to help you focus and meditate. Wriggle at any space.
It’s all about rolling in circular movements.
Heptagon is made of solid, amazing, and high quality materials which fit in your hand. Feel it, roll it around to utilize the intersection of art and math. Our goal is to be simple, but not simpler, and Heptagon has finally met our mission.
We started with Luminati Hexagon, our previous ordinary project with awesome backers and now we want to draw your attention to our new product, “Heptagon”. Heptagon was inspired from Luminati, which is a 3D hexangular. It is absolutely an aesthetic object for designers, artists and math lovers.
To know more about what Heptagons came from we should reference it to reuleaux polygons which they based on circles from vertex of an equilateral polygons. Reuleaux polygons are a generalization of the Reuleaux triangle. They are curvilinear polygons, made up of circular arcs and have an odd number of sides. It is based on drawing circles from each vertex of an equilateral triangle that the radius of these circles equals the side length of the vertices.

Heptagon will be CNC machined from solid bars of copper, brass and stainless steel. We want to provide you with the best finishes and quality; so, we are just using solid bars. All the Heptagons are in the same size, but you can choose the finish you like. You can choose Machine, Mirror polish and Satin on solid copper, brass and stainless steel. The satin finish is just like the metal finish, it is not shiny and reflective, hides fingerprints nicely. The mirror polish is obviously reflective as a mirror, you may use it as a pocket mirror. The machine finish looks mate and brushed, but it is actually a precisely machined surface. Personally, I prefer machine finish, because it will reflect chromatic light into its fractions, which shows a rainbow.
Note: Just a note about the copper Heptagons; due to the solidness of all of our products, keep in mind that coppers color is going to change after a while or in a humid areas. On the other hand it is easy to polish it.
Heptagon Dimension and specifications:
Each Heptagon is 1.37 in. (3.50 cm) in width.
Stainless steel weighs 175.0 gr (6.17 oz.)
Brass weighs 185.0 gr (6.52 oz.)
Copper weighs 195.0 gr (6.87 oz.)
At the end of the campaign, you will receive a Kickstarter Backer Survey that you can choose your material and finish options. We have marked April in our timeline to start shipping out, but hoping for the end of March. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Risks and challenges
All of the pictures in the campaign are our prototypes that we have made for quality check and we will be following the same methods for the final production. We are confident that we can successfully bring the Heptagon to life for all our backers! But, sometimes it takes more time.
Thank you for visiting our campaign and appreciate your interest in Heptagon!
We will update you and confirm that we are on the same page in this process. Please contact us through Kickstarter’s messaging system if you have any questions.
